Pedro Pascal was the child of Verónica Pascal Ureta, who worked as a clinical psychologist and José Balmaceda Riera who was a fertility physician. His family was closely related to politics, for example, his mother was a cousin to Andres Pascal Allende, a revolutionary leader in Chile.
